OUR SCHOOL YEAR
The Trinity Nursery School year begins approximately the 2nd week of September and goes through the 3rd week of May. We try to follow the calendar of the area public schools to determine any vacations or days off, but our schedule may not be exactly the same as the public school in your town.
THREE-YEAR-OLD CLASSES
Our three-year-old classes meet twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The morning class meets from 9:00-11:30 am and the afternoon class meets from 12:30-3:00 pm. During the first month of school, the three’s classes are shortened by one half hour to allow for a smoother transition to nursery school. Each class has 3 teachers with a maximum of 16 children in the morning and 14 children in the afternoon.
FOUR-YEAR-OLD CLASSES
Our four-year-old classes meet three times a week on Mondays,
Wednesdays, and Fridays. The morning class meets from
9:00-11:30 am and the afternoon class meets from 12:30-3:00 pm.
Each class has 2 teachers with a maximum of 18 children
in the morning and 16 children in the afternoon.
A TYPICAL DAY AT TRINITY
At Trinity, our curriculum is usually built around a theme with equipment,
stories, and projects that relate to a common subject (sea creatures, the
weather, or a trip to China). Our daily schedule can vary, but we
usually try to incorporate all of the following areas into our day
Meeting Time & Free Play
The children begin the day with a short meeting to talk about the day’s events. Meeting time is followed by free play, which might include art projects, block play, cooking, dramatic play, puzzles, etc.
Clean Up & Circle Time
Clean up time is a cooperative effort.
Circle time includes story time, music and movement.
Bathroom, Handwashing & Snack
The children learn self-care, and how to socialize quietly in groups.
They also participate in the snack preparation and clean up.
Outdoor Play
Weather permitting, the children go outside to our playground for active play everyday. They enjoy the sandbox, swings, balance beam, playscape, bikes, and playhouse.

TUITION AND REGISTRATION FEES 2012-2013
There is a $75 non-refundable registration fee per child.
Tuition for the 3-year old classes is $1,410.00
Tuition for the 4-year old classes is $1,912.00
Tuition may be paid in full or divided into 5 payments throughout the year.
Payments are due on the 15th of April, June, August, October, and January.
OUR SUMMER ADVENTURE PROGRAM
Trinity Nursery School is offering a Summer Adventure program during the month of June. We will accept potty-trained children ages 3-5 years old who have had at least one year of pre-school experience.
Our program is led by certified educational professionals, and is primarily an outdoor camp experience with special emphasis on nature, physical activities, arts and crafts, literature and music, and fun science experiments. Special events such as a cookout, picnics, water day, and a bike rodeo have also been planned.
We are offering 2 sessions as follows for Summer 2011:
MWF June 1-24 9 am – Noon $315
T TH May 31-June 23 9 am – Noon $225
Each session is limited to 18 children, so register early! A $100 Non-refundable deposit (counted toward full tuition) is due at the time of registration in order to hold your slot. The remaining balance, along with applicable health forms, is due by May 1, 2011.
